Hello everyone

I'm going to build a PC at around $400, reason being is that my brother was about to buy a PS4 and I said no. And I'm wondering whether or not this will be a good option compared to it, and of course, please leave some revises if there are any "not-so-great" pick that I did

here are the parts list:

Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 460 2GB DDR5 OC

AMD FX-8300

Thermaltake Lite Power 450W

Western Digital Caviar 1TB SATA3 Blue WD10EZEX

Patriot DDR3 PSD38G1600H

Armaggeddon Nanotron T1x Black (The case)

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

thank you

@RaptorCandy @Vernw3 would the 2 cores be sufficient at games such as GTA V?

No, but the pentium G4560 has 4 virtual cores from hyper threading while still having solid single core performance. It's a great budget CPU for that reason

@RaptorCandy @Vernw3 @Wufflez Guess I'm going with that instead then, But I'm still going for that Case that I mentioned (it's hella cheap) so I changed the motherboard as well with an Asus H110M-A D3.

*I don't really know if it's compatible with the G4560 (please confirm it) as I am still at dinner and would be impolite to check my phone

"It is compatible" But that's only if the H110 bios has been updated. Otherwise you'll need a skylake processor to update the bios then you can use the G4560. In other cases the bios is already updated out of the box but you can never be sure. Getting a B250 you won't need to worry about this issue which is why the other two posters recommended it

okay then
So I instead chose with i3-6100 instead with the motherboard(the H110M) while costing the same.

thoughts? *I haven't bought it surely

Well the i3 is slightly better but not by much. You can try to get in contact with the seller of the H110 and ask if it's bios is updated for kaby lake would save a lot of money if its confirmed to be compatible.
