Alienware 15 R3 Keyboard swap

Hey guys!

 

I have really great opportunity to buy pretty damn cheap 15 R3 with 1070 but what is holding me off is that it has UK keyboard layout. I use US layout and I'm comfortable with it and I don't want to switch, especially with US layout on my desktop. 

I know that changing the keyboard is possible, (correct me if I'm wrong) I've watched some tutorials but i couldn't find any keyboard replacement parts with US layout, tbh I didn't find any keyboards for 15R3. So maybe u guys can help me finding them. Also I don't know how changing the keyboard would affect the warranty. Any ideas ??

ask dell directly for a cost on the keyboard replacement

 

warranty intact if you don't break anything while changing it. just have to change it back for warranty service.

 

note: ITS A PAIN IN THE ASS to change the keyboard on this machine. It requires a FULL disassembly. Motherboard out and the whole 9 yards.
