dispose Disposing a old power supply

Hello,

I'd recently brought a new CPU (to support a few other upgrades,) and now I have my old PSU which I would like to dispose, its a label less 270w PSU from a pre-built system that I've had for quite a few years, therefore I doubt I can sell it. I would like to know how to properly dispose the CPU as I'm pretty sure I cant just simply throw it away in a standard bin.

Don't you have a dumping ground somewhere? There is usually an area to drop off electronic parts. In europe there is also a law that you can send your old hardware back to the store for free (So if you buy a new PSU you can send your old one back).

There is one not to far away, and I hadn't thought of that, thanks for the help

Best Buy can recycle them properly. If you have Free Geek or something similar then they can too.
