Need advise on RAM

Hey guys right now i have a motherboard with two ram slots and one RAM stick of 8GB DDR3 (http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KVR16LS11_8.pdf) I am buying a few second  hand parts and RAM is included in it. So i will have another 8GB DDR3 RAM stick (Kingston Technology HyperX Blu 8GB 1333MHz DDR3). I was wondering if i put both these RAM sticks together in my PC will it cause any trouble or be damaging to the performance since they aren't the exact same.

Thank you for taking your time and helping out.

I'm reasonably sure that it won't be a problem, they should work at the slowest speed of the two sticks.

I'm not 100% sure so don't just rely on my opinion, only believe it if it lines up with the other opinions.

I believe you are correct, though i don't have first hand experience of this, as I generally shy away from loading a MB with unmatched RAM.
