what if 1800x is overclocked to its maxed performance ?

Still very close to the 1700, IMO not worth the extra money that could be spent on more RAM, more storage, better case, better cooling, etc.

So guys today i need help with buying a cpu since i cant dicde which cpu would fit the best so my budget is max 500 and im aiming for 400 dollars cpu ,so you might be wondering what am i going to do will i want to game alot so like get 100+  fps on most or any games also a cpu that will get me 100+ fps while recording vids and im do editing which means i need a cpu that can render fast so i can uploaded to the youtube channel also i want to streaming something like every other months one time and with no fps drop also which gpu you would you recommend to go with the cpu . thank you :) also pls help me :)

First lets discuss what platform you wanna go with first, Intel or AMD?

CPU: 5900X   MOBO: MSI Tomahawk x570
MEM: G.Skill 32gb (2 x 16gb) 3600
GPU: Asus tuf oc 3080

May add the other bits of my system later on

If you want to be able to do editing and record while gaming, you'll want more cores. Maybe look at the R7 1800 and 1800X, or an older Intel extreme edition.

wait will it give me 100+ fps while recording on most of the game ? and what gpu you would you recommend me with ?

Dont go for 1800+, go for the 1700 or 1700x and use the extra money on better components for the rest of the system, there isnt a huge distance. WHats your total budget? And what games?

Well if you have $800+ for the GPU, get a 1080Ti. FPS is mostly determined by your GPU, and the CPU won't really affect it that much in most games. The Ryzen CPUs have more than enough single threaded performance to not bottleneck at 1080Ti, and the extra cores will leave plenty of room to stream/record while you game.

wait quick question is there a really big difference between 1080 it and titan xp ?

If you are gonna be recording, Then go with a Ryzen 7, also don't worry too much about FPS with the newer CPU's.  If you have a good video card and running at 1080p and/or 1440p, you will be fine.

Yeah, with your budget of $800 for a card, you can easily buy a 1080Ti.

Ummm....not quite actually, they can bottleneck a 1080ti and for the most part an i7 7700K is what you want for high FPS gaming, with X99/X199 being next best for high fps gaming and far better for recording.
