Can i run a pcie extender from a existing case to another case that holds a graphics card... To make it cheaper for me to have a better setup with out having to replace all the parts of my existing rebuilt

sorry what you want to do is run a extender from one motherboard in one case to another case, which will only be used for the GPU, yes that would work. Or you could just move the motherboard and all the parts etc. into the other case which may offer you more space meaning that you don't need to do that in the first place

why not just put your graphics card in that system? unless you want to do something with a laptop ?

just dont make the extender too long. i hear it reduces bandwidth.

well yah, it should work, but i dont see a super good reason to do it any more then tapeing the GPU to the outside of the case or something

This question only makes sense for me if in the case where the card should go is no space left.

 

To answer the question correctly, please empty your mind on why you want to do that =)

would it be better to do the extender or just find a way to make a test bench out of it
