No it does not, you have to go here: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Download the DDU application, reboot your system SAFE MODE, let it completely wipe out the drivers and ONLY then you install the new card and go download GeForce Experience, and do NOT let it update automatically newer drivers afterwards as EVERY single time you'll driver update for display you NEED to DDU to ensure it is operating on its full potential.

It leaves a lot of terrible left overs though, trust me I learned this the hard way I too used to have faith on GeForce Experience only to go play Bioshock Infinite one day and my TITAN X after a driver update and it was working on 30% usage only doing 50fps instead of 160fps it always did...

DDU'ed and reinstalled all fresh new and the frames per second actually increased to 180 lol.

I still use GE for the Shadow Play and even let it install the driver, but whenever I'll update the driver DDU every time.

No it is fine, SSDs are extremely reliable against these issues.

Also we did tell you to go for the "DDU" route, I know it may sound dickish but Google is there to be used haha, if you have other questions you can PM me, I can't address them right away as I am at work right now but later on I'll be glad to help you out.
