can't install windows

After many hours i finally got my newly built computer to post and im trying to install windows. I downloaded windows to a usb thumb drive from another pc and plugged it into the new pc. I set it first in the boot priority in the bios and restarted. It now boots to the thumb drive and i get the windows logo and the loading circle spins for 2 seconds before it freezes. I've been looking at it for about 20 minutes now and nothing happenes.

Did u try different USB ports? Preferably an USB2.0 port for booting.

Also, does the boot drive work in the other computer? can u try it there?

Do I need to format the usb drive? I did that now and im trying again. I have only got usb 3.0 and 3.1 on my pc.

Neither of those are things i suggested

First try to boot from it from another pc to make sure the usb image is working. Then try other USB ports.

try the windows media creation tool, it will do all the hard work.  Just make sure the drive you want to use as the C: drive is the only drive connected at the time of the Windows install.

i have my ssd connected. So i need to uninstall it then?
