Good security camera set for home security

As the title states. 

 

I came home today from work to see one of my family's garage doors open (3 doors, one door we dont park a car in was open) and that made me start thinking of investing in a security camera system for my family just in case. 

 

I don't even know where to start.

It is something i will have to run by with the family, so I cannot really say any budget at this time. nothing super fancy, but good enough in resolution to see some details.

its vital that you will get something good and will also last. its also very easy to setup and the cameras are of good quality
