What's The Difference Between Inspiron 5577 And Inspiron 7567

Go to solution Solved by edit1754,

I would not go for the 5577, since it is stuck with the same very poor quality stock/default TN panel that used to also be the only option on the 7567. I would say you need a $900 budget in order to truly consider the Dell Inspiron Gaming product line, since that is the configured price of the cheapest 7567 that offers the upgraded IPS panel (SSD + 1050 Ti model w/ IPS upgrade) rather than the stock/default low quality TN, which is pretty bad for this price bracket and in general I would say.

These two are good:

If you can't go $900, a better route might be:

- Get the Acer VX 15 if you won't take advantage of the Inspiron's longer battery life. https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-Gaming-GeForce-VX5-591G-5652/dp/B01N11JKA3/

- Get a Clevo N855HJ. https://lpc-digital.com/product/sager-np5855-clevo-n855hj/ (Pick the IPS screen upgrade for +$45. Same issue. Also select Windows 10. $844. Don't go for the one on Amazon since it does not include IPS)

- Grab a refurb Inspiron 7567 from the Dell Outlet for cheap, and use the saved budget to replace the screen yourself: https://www.reddit.com/r/SuggestALaptop/comments/5q8omp/update_on_inspiron_15_7567_gaming_laptop/

And the amusing part is that the 7559 chassis is actually more capable when it comes to cooling. :P Kinda sad really.
