Titanfall 2 Low GPU Usage 144Hz

Hunter-97-G

Hey,

Today my Asus ROG Swift PG279Q arrived, and I traded 4K resolution for much higher refresh and G-Sync. 0 complaints up until now, the display is incredible.

But I'm only getting GPU Usage (1080 Ti) on the 70's and 80's, never above 90%, which is weird and I would appreciate the extra fps. No CPU bottleneck, my i7 4790K stays between 30-40% of usage. What can I do?

I'm assuming G-Sync will limit your FPS to the max refresh rate of your monitor.

My max refresh is 144 (165 if overclocked), but it doesn't get near that, and has drops to the 70's, I'd like to stay above 90.

I had MSAA x2 and reduced it to TSAA on my last game, my results are 80-120fps with drops to the 70's and 60's, but the usage worried me. Should I not worry, then?

I also think that being an online game since it has to base some information on the server and whats happening online you may run into your internet connecting bottlenecking you.

91-100% usage on Firestrike Extreme. I believe I'm fine.
