neat idea but our batteries are not good enough and VR is expensive as all hell anyway

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

My thoughts? So it's like Pokemon Go, but worse. You'll be walking off a cliff or into the path of an oncoming truck without knowing it. Seems impractical and expensive. And like @Bananasplit_00 said, the batteries aren't good enough yet. Ever picked up a 1300w UPS? And that can only run a high end PC for 5-15min max. Trying to lug a battery that gives you a good amount of play time would make you want to sit down, and that defeats the point of a backpack.

I highly doubt even doing Linus' jank VR backpack with my AW 13R3 would give me more than an hour of VR gaming at most.

Plus VR is over-fuckin-rated.  There's like...ONE decent game for VR right now.
