Hi all...

so i am getting a pcin a week or so, the issue i have is i can get a i7 7700 with a navida gtx 1080 8gp pascel or i7 770k with a navida gtx 1070, i will play most uptodate games and will be useing it for light rendering and codeing work nothink to heavy ? what would you pick out of the 2 ?

I7 7700K @5.0ghz, Asus Z270-P, Corsair H115i, hyperX 16gb, Asus duel 1070, Nzxt H440

I would go 7700 + 1080. You are not going to overclock it that much.

moniter will be a 300-500 moniter, not decided yet, and games are cs:go, battlefeild etc

Seems like two good choices. 7700K and [1070] get my vote. I'd also recommend a 1440 ultrawide if you're able to afford it.

Decide what monitor you're getting first, and then decide on the hardware you get for it. You could easily get an R5 1600 for less money than an i7-7700, get better performance in multi-threaded tasks, and similar performance in games at 1440p and beyond. That way you could get a GTX 1080 and still probably be cheaper than either of the other options.

i7 7700 and 1080 would be my choice
