Ironside or Custom Built?

Huge dilemma here. My friend introduced me to Ironside, which is a site where you can customize your PC, they'll build it and test it, and ship it to you. Now I am considering this as from what I've seen PC building is pretty difficult (had to help a friend once). However, the added cost is ~$150, BUT unlike my custom PC list they have the RX580 in stock (wat?). So, should I go with Ironside or build it myself?

Thanks,

CM

Custom built would be cheaper and you get the experience of building it yourself (Need to know what to do when you upgrade in a few years).

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Normally I would say Custom build, but if you are as impatient as me and have an extra $150 to spend, then go for it. There are much greater perks though to custom building a machine though, like you knowing the ins and outs and customizability, and you certainly don't have to worry about warranty, and you know the parts are good because you will be testing them.

I've seen some Ironside computers and I'd say they do a very good job and building the PC and cable management is good. If you want them to build then go for it. :)

You can change the GPU out form something else I believe.

I've got a friend who used to work for Ironside in their Building/Shipping division, so while I do encourage you to build your own, I'll vouch for Ironside as a good alternative.
