Windows pooled Storage (raid) Storage Spaces

I am currently using Windows Storage Spaces with three (3) TB Seagate desktop drives. I have been gaming, multipurpose and general storage use with it. I have enjoyed my experience and my raid transferred to my new motherboard with no issue. What are the LTT forums thoughts on this? Performance your experience?

I'm not a big fan of using Windows to software RAID.  The compatibility when migrating "should" be seamless, but I have had a few hiccups here & there.  I don't think it's a bad option though.  My preference is dedicated Server RAIDs or NAS machines as hardware RAID.
