SLI 970's or GTX 980Ti?

orangecat

So I found a cheque i forgot to cash and now I got an extra 300$ in my account and I'd love to upgrade my rig with it. I'm not sure if I should see about getting a second GTX 970 or selling it off and buying a newer single card. Surely a 970 can be found for cheap if I look hard enough but a single card would be better.

Your thoughts?

Would recommend selling you're current card and going for a 1070, they go for around 400

1070 is a good alternative to 980 ti, they are very similar in performance so just try to get the cheaper card. I have both gpu's and the 980 ti seems smoother to me in some of the games I play like overwatch for example.

980Ti is cheaper ($260 on EVGA B-Stock, anyone?) and faster by a small margin, as well as a better OC'er.

idk
