This is my first ever pc build! These are my specs https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cXsgcc (ignore the ram price, i ordered it when it was $55) and i am buying a Windows 10 Professional Key from Kinguin for $28 plus the warranty. Let me know if i chose good parts. (I bought the 3 fans because its a small case and my graphics card is an open air, not a rear blower and somebody told me it would get really hot.) Total, the whole thing without the $33 windows 10 is $999.40 with tax! Thanks to everyone that helped me pick out the right parts and guided me thru the process!

Did I miss it? Buy 3 fans, but the case has a case fan. Where to mount the other fans? I would drop all the fans and the splitter cable.

Also why windows 10 pro? Do you need to connect to a domain?

Because, pro is a good marketing strategy.

Good, except get a better 1070 and ditch the fans. The MSI Gaming X performs very well and matches your motherboard too.

RAM definitely, 16GB is a must.

I honestly don't think you will get too big a bump out of R7 unless you do a lot of rendering or video editing. After RAM, get a nice TG case like a P400S or S340 Elite, or the new upcoming P300 (TG case, only $59!!!). Also consider a Kraken G12 ($30) with something like a Corsair H55 ($50-60) to get your 1070 running cool and fast.
