The plan here was to build a complete (minus monitor) set up for recording mics and guitar, producing music and outputting to the web or disc.  The build has since been finished, hence the older parts choices.  It works great and the new owner is learning a lot as he records his music.  Here's a list of the parts:  Intel 4460 cpu, ASRock h97 board, GSkill 8GB ddr3, Seasonic power supply, Seagate 1TB SSHD, CoolerMaster N200 case, ASUS DVDRW, Windows 10 Home 64 bit.  Also, CoolerMaster keyboard and mouse in blue led and Focusrite 2i2 connected to Resonus Eris E4.5 studio monitors.

I always use Seasonic power supplies.  I really don't know who makes a better one...

The psu.

PreSonus E4.5s backs.  These things are set up in near field for sitting at the workstation.  They sound fantastic.  I am considering picking up a set for myself.
