Hello, I have to film an scene from Shakespeare for my school project. This would require me to video edit, but I've noticed that most of them are not free. I have been reccomended to torrent video editing software, but I'm not really familiar with torrenting. Are there and free and safe alternatives for Video Editing Software?

Da Vinci Resolve is super solid, especially in the latest update

Hitfilm is also nice, from what I've been told

You can get a 7 day free trial of Adobe Premiere as well from their website

It depends on how many advanced features your want.

Da Vinci Resolve is great, professional software. Of course you could also get a free trial as mentioned, for Adobe Premiere. But if you've never edited a video before there is a bit of a learning curve.

If you want something simple, the most basic software is Windows Movie Maker. No advanced things like colour coding but you'll be up able to make something without any effort.

Personally I'd recommend VideoPad, it's completely free, very easy to use and has all the options necessary for most non-professional projects.

Does you mum know you're here?
