Ryzen Windows install error

I have assembled a new rig and am currently trying to install windows.  Whenever i try to boot off of the usb, i will get about two frames of a loading screen, then it freezes.  I considered trying to flash the bios, but i am hesitant to do this because the CPU on RAM error LED's turn on during startup.  I am afraid that it will freeze up while it is updating the bios, and then i will have a very expensive paper weight.  Any suggestions on what to do?

Ryzen 1600

MSI B350M Mortar Arctic MOBO

8GB Corsair Vengence LPX 3000

EVGA GTX 1060

Sandisk 240 GB SSD

Fractal Define Mini C

Corsair CX550M

What version of windows are you installing?

there is no post code, my mobo only has 4 leds for cpu, ram, vga, or boot errors

Deeeefinitely don't flash BIOS.

 

You have an unstable component. Make a bootable USB with memtest86+ and try to run it. If it fails, your RAM or CPU don't work properly and should be RMA'd (RAM first because those fail more often)

Motherboard and RAM, those things are usually the culprits. But i don't know, try to follow the Moderators instruction maybe?

When you bought PC and where did you bought it ?

If you have still chance to return the motherboard, DO IT. 

Replace it with ASRock B350 motherboard

 

If you don't then run memtest like @Energycore said.

is there something bad about the msi board?
