dram frequency?

I was about to overclock and I saw something about dram frequency? I don't know anything about that. I'm thinking it's something about ram. I was wondering if I had to move it to overclock my cpu? All my parts are in my signature

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti 

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB
