There might be something in currency which throws me off, but according to converter, $25 gift card costs $25. Its cheaper than owning CC where you pay monthly fee for just owning the thing. Not counting % payments banks take from each purchase.

Not unless game itself is subscription. CC = Credit Card. And those have monthly fees. Something like $3 per month just to own it.

Not all CCs have monthly fees.

 

They do have interest tho, but if you pay your balance it's essentially free.
