Requiring your help to finish my build

Hi guys ,

 

thanks for stopping by ,

 

So yeah i have posted on this great forum before , got lots of advice and i'm so thankfull for it.

I've had a project some time ago , for a 5K build that i never got around to finishing... grew up and realised that puting 5K into a pc isnt really worth it ... hahahaha.

 

here is my first post on this great forum

 

so the only parts that i managed to get

 

the motherboard ASUS VI extreme

 

the Asus Xonar Phoebus soundcard

 

The Corsair 900D Case

 

The ASUS VS278Q monitor (to be used as a secondary monitor)

 

Thats all of it.

 

And i'm going to require your help in order to finish it.

I need to know how to get the max value of the budget that i am willing to spend.

IT would be around 1500 euros , and i can go a bit higher than that.

that would be without the monitor.

 

so what would i need it for ?

Mainly , Gaming on Starcraft 2 , Heroes of the Storm , League of legends , Dota , COD ,

Occasionally a highly demanding GPU game , like batman arkham series ... or smth like that

 

i'm open to all suggestions and will take any advice given.If you have any questions , SHOOT

if you can sell the motherboard and get a more recent one, like Ryzen, it would be worth it

Is it possible to return the parts at this point or something?

 

The mobo is outdated by 3 years now, sound card isn't worth it, and if you ask me there are better options for case now.

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

@Dragonheart yeah i could if i find a buyer knowing that i dont have its box anymore .... Might find one on Leboncoin (french Craigslist)

do you have a link to that specific mobo ?

@DocSwag nah i dont think i can return it , i might be able to find a buyer as i told MR dragonheart

what cases do you have in mind ?

If you demonstrate that the board works, someone would probably gladly take it off of you.

If you want a nice looking case that's more premium the enthoo evolv and 460x come to mind. A bit of a cheaper option would be a p400s or s340 elite, define s is also worth looking at if you like it's look.

Is that Maximus VI i look?
