Afternoon Guys!

Decided to overclock my I5 6600k some more ( either that  or go shopping with the mrs lol)

So I managed to get it stable at a mild 4.6ghz at 1.248 vcore

Am I at it's limits or is there abit more wiggle room?

BTW Temps are only hitting 60 degrees Celcius on aida64 cpu stress test.

You wont know until you try. Just keep dialing up the mhz up by 100 or so until you get instability, then add some voltage until its stable. Stop when you can't get it stable with 1.3v or you reach your temperature limits, whichever comes first (Running at or above 85 in real applications, not synthetic)

What cpu cooler?

Seems pretty good, you could still probably push it further tbh.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Run some benchmarks. Sometimes they tickle stuff and crash that certain stresses wont.

XTU and CB R15 are good. Maybe wPrime 1024M + SuperPi 32M too.

I'll try xtu see what I get with that
