If you won't use SLI then get B350 board from ASRock or Gigabyte or MSI

Get 3200 MHz RAM

Get another SSD (Crucial MX300 is good)

I think Wraith cooler is good enough but if you plan to overclock then you picked right one

Try to get EVGA or SeaSonic's PSU

Other than that build is very good

Looks good to me, though I have no experiences with the dark power pro, but it seems to get great reviews. (so far I have only used corsair psus and a evga g3, both of which performed great). The case is ultimately, aside from what you plan of putting into ity a choice dependent on your sense of aesthetics. the Memory should be at least 3000-  3200mhz (i did not open the links so no ideab :P ). and the board is a little OP (b350 is enough, if you only want to overclock without sli).

The only thing I am really unsure of is your cpu cooler. Consider an aircooler or at least a a corsair hydro v 2 (Note here, that I have never used a closed loop liquid cooler, and only know of friends who used the latter and liked it).

Get B350 if you don't need those extra features in X370
PSU a bit overkill
Get high speed RAM (or OC it)

Would not recommend AIO unless you need the slightly better temps and better aesthetics

-Do you REALLY need a platinum rated psu? :P you could get a 750w g2/G3 for less

-What are you doing with this pc?

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Alright thank you!

But I am going to be overclocking from 3.00GHZ -> 3.7 GHZ so I feel as if a liquid cooler would be better. :)

Which PSU would you recommend then?

And then please link RAM that you would recommend to for high-speed one.

I am going to be overclocking my CPU from 3.00 to 3.7 with the Ryzen 7 1700. So wouldn't you say its a good pick? If not, which one then. (Air or Liquid)

Purty sure the ram you chose is fine.

Alright, I just bumped up to 3200 for $10 so yeah.

Eh not necessarily a good idea. You should look at the motherboard's memory qvl list for what ram you should use. The kit you originally had was on the list so should be able to hit 2933. Whatever 3200 kit you switched to probably isn't on the list, and might not even be able to hit 2933.

You think getting 32GB of ram would be worth or not?
