So I am going to go second year in studies. And need a new rig, something which I can do some mid end-gaming, some video editing, graphics designing and work, mainly essay writing - of course within a reasonable budget of around £500. I was just wondering if this items are compatible with eachother.

This will be the first time I will build a PC, abit nervous but surely it probably will sound like fun - just like building legos. just slightly nervous if this PC doesn't turn on. Suggest any changes I should make if you want. I was thinking of buying a better fan but not sure if it makes a difference

Thanks.

Snip

You should be going Ryzen instead for your budget and build intentions: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/KXVbQV

if you have a couple extra dollars you may wish to get a slightly higher quality PSU... but that unit will do a build like yours just fine, and I was trying to keep it as close as possible to the original budget. Whatever you decide to do, good luck.
