would something like this be good then? i literally know nothing about coolers tbh. Also is a 600 watt psu good enough? http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GDDR5-3GB-2xMini-Graphics-GV-R928XOC-3GD/dp/B00FONITA6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1385071365&sr=1-1&keywords=280x. Also im gonna be running a 2550 by 1440 display if that has anything to do with it lol.

That would be fine, also the 600W PSU is HEAPS! You won't be able to do any crossfire though.

That card is good. Card should be able to play at high settings at that resolution, just don't expect high amounts of post processing (AA)

What 600 watt PSU do you own?

i also would need a 4 to 8 pin power adapter to plug into the gpu, anyone reccomend a good brand?

The MSI model would come with one (6 to 8pin), not sure about the Gigabyte.  6pin to 8 pin PEG connector?  Or do you want two molex to 8 pin PEG?
