you mean 1440p and 2160p ;)

honestly at  that budget you could fit at least a ryzen 7 or i7

I'd get a gtx 1080 non ti and a Intel core i7 7700k with a z270 mobo and a Noctua NH-d15

I assume by 2k you mean 1440p (2K is actually 2048×1080, used by filmmakers)? R5 is good for rendering (Much better than 7700k) and good for gaming. I would only suggest getting an AiB custom card instead of FE for better thermals and less noise.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Better CPU cooler, no need X370 mobo, cheaper RAM, larger SSD, better GPU (1080TI) which is not FE (founders edition, blower style), swapped PSU (still excellent quality, 750W a bit overkill)

Ryzen will be better for content creation. Also that cooler is useless for an unlocked cpu.

It'll work until he upgrades it.

Ryzen would be better, The list was to illustrate affordability going Intel if he wanted to with a 1080ti.

Now is a bad time to buy anyways. I'd wait for Q4-2017.

Why would you need to wait for Q4 ?

No I didn't. You even quoted it bub.

Let me break it down for you with an example.

"I need to wait for a new build due to money." - This guy needs to wait.

"I'm waiting for a new build to see what is to come." - This guy is choosing to wait.

See the difference?

I would wait for Q4-2017.

I7-7700k@5.1ghz + 1080ti @ 2050mhz + 32gbs Ram + 2TB SSD = CSGO

Read it correctly. What's it like to be a forum warrior? Make ya feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside?

Now I am a Forum warrior ? Yeah ok.

How am I backtracking ? Why make a statement and then try and say you meant something else ? Also what is due in Q4 that would make it worthwhile waiting ?

yes, I'm also thinking of buying a new rig at this price point and would like to know the answer also.... I have heard rumors that more i9's would be coming but I assumed that would be out of my price range. But you know what they say about making an assumption, you make an ass out ou you and me.... anyway yeah what might we be able to get if we wait.

I agree with @PCMasterDebater and @ZM Fong that having a better cooler will really help. Your CPU getting hot can cause shutdowns and/or ruin your processor(definitely lowers the lifespan). I don't know about you but spending this kind of money I want mine to last as long as posible.
