Hey, so long story short, I want to make sure I don't screw up my airflow. I'm looking for a rear exhaust fan for my InWin 301 case, as I'm cooling my CPU with a Cryorig C7, IDK if the exhaust fan will interfere with the airflow of the C7, them being placed somewhat close to each other but the C7 being parallel with the motherboard.

I don't care if it's noisy at all, and I would prefer for it to be white or black/white, maybe with white LEDs, But my main concern is if it would cause conflict with my C7.

Get an airflow optimized PWM fan with a big RPM range. It doesn't matter if they're close or even create competing air currents, the exhaust fan will drop your CPU and system temperature regardless.

could you explain a bit further as to why is that? :o

Idk, have you tested how temps change? Like rear as exhaust, as intake and without fan? I assume PSU is fan-side down.

I haven't as I haven't bought the fan yet.

Airflow optimized because static pressure is not a concern here. PWM and big RPM range so you can find a sweet spot and eventually eliminate competing air currents. And temperatures will drop regardless because getting hot air out of the case is a lot more important than getting the optimal airflow for (just) the CPU cooler.

Oh wow, that was very informative. Will definitely consider this now :) Thanks!

You might be fine with just 2 front intakes.

The problem with the InWin 301 is that the front panel has no openings for fans to get intake from.

OK, just ignore me. I'm trying figure how airflow works in that case while on mobile. I might get better look later today.

Hey don't worry, here's a few photos I took if you wanna look at it! I think the main intake route should be on the bottom on the case, as the PSU and the missing rear exhaust fan help with exhaust :) the front panel really is weird for me but I don't know how radiators behave on this kind of configuration.

Yes, an exhaust fan can interfere with the airflow around the cpu cooler but it will be the main thing removing heat from the case and do more good than harm.

What are your specs and why are you only looking for a rear exhaust fan? Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

Hey! Thanks for taking the time to read this, to answer your questions, I'm looking for a rear exhaust fan because the case I'm using didn't come with one (InWin 301), I also switched from the stock intel cooler to a Cryorig C7, I'm shopping on amazon/ebay since pcpartpicker prices and stores are mostly unavailable in México (only Amazon is, and in some cases, Best Buy), I don't have a tight budget  as I plan to save up for the right and appropiate component, not something that will last me a few weeks only.

Specs:

Case: InWin 301 (White)

CPU: Intel Core i5-7400

CPU Cooler: Cryorig C7

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H

RAM: 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury Black 2666MHz

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050Ti SC Gaming 4GB

PSU: EVGA 450W B1 Bronze Plus

SSD: PNY 120GB
