Fan Controller or Motherboard

Go to solution Solved by VIVO-US,

It comes down to personal preference.  If your motherboard has fan control, then you can use the board's software to set and automatically control the speed.  With the fan control on the case, all you do is press the button on the case to switch between low and high speed.

I using a Corsair 760t for my chassis, and I'm debating wether or not to use the built in fan controller, or connect the the fans directly into the motherboard. Is there a specific advantage for one that makes it the better option, or is it just down to personal preference?

Thanks!
