Hello, I've just built my first PC.

I'm using the B350M MATX motherboard with a Ryzen 5 1600.

When I boot up the case fans spin, the gpu fans spin and the CPU cooler fan spins.

Although I'm getting the CPU and DRAM Led's light up on the debug.  I've tried changing the slots the RAM is in although it hasn't solved anything.

Does anyone know of any way I could try and fix this?

Thanks :)

The CPU light means that the motherboard is not detecting the CPU or something failed there, same with DRAM. On page 36 of the manual.

although it is vague and I'm not sure if on means it is not detected or off means it is not detected.

Could it be a problem with the board?  I tried taking the GPU out of the board and using the HDMI from the board itself but it still didn't show up on my monitor.

Would you suggest sending the board back and getting a replacement?  I've read a few things online that some boards might not be updated to run the Ryzen 5 too.  Not sure if that could be the issue.

Thanks

There is no on board graphics with that setup so without a GPU you wont see anything on screen regardless.

Additionally, I believe that there is a chance that the CPU debug led will light up if the DRAM is not detected. I would try using different RAM that you know is compatible, and if that doesn't work then RMA the board.
