idk, but that link says Gentech. So... Gentech support is 9/10 if you meant that.

reason why I link Gentech is because it's so far the only place to offer it with liquid metal and it's pretty much required. The N850HK1 chassis wasn't built to handle the 1060 so you need the best of the best tuned to the max.

how's sager support?

I would say 5 or 6/ 10, you have to RMA if there is a problem.

3rd party retailer support is pretty tier 1. especially if you know how to bother them. eg. bother them on NBR's Reseller Feedback Forum. People post anything half negative and the reps instantly answer. (most of the time it's good though). Gentech is a good place. It's the place to get Aorus' and stuff. Not for higher end Clevos, but for now the N850HP6 can be specced with liquid metal from them.

Also if something like Obsidian PC or HID is a 10, Apple would only be like an 8.

i have been looking at the same price range  laptops as well this is the one im considering

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAWJZ06/ref=nav_timeline_asin?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I was looking at this as well, but the keyboard not being backlit is kinda a nono for me. Also its a TN pannel (although i think its a good tn pannel to be fair)

I'd say Apple has the best support in the large brands. Yes, if you want to physically walk into a shop then Apple has everyone beat cause these 3rd party retailers aren't as massive as Apple (they're quite tiny). But over the phone or email, these guys are fucking solid.

I've never heard of these guys. Are they reputable/reliable?

they sell more laptops than most. every single "custom" laptop is a Clevo. The ones that CyberPower, Origin, Falcon, etc. Every "custom" laptop that isn't from the big Tier 1 manufacturers are Clevos.
