Is this worth it to get started as a it tech down the road I will get more like network + I live in Michigan so would it help there

Any qualification you can get is worth it really. The A+ is definitely worth it, but you may find that going down the Cisco route is better for Networking, depending on what you want to do. Of course, if you can go for N+ and CCNA, do it, but there's a lot of places that will look specifically for Cisco qualifications if it's a networking focused position.
