Office PC

My parents need a new Desktop PC. It won't be used for much more than basic surfing and office tasks.

I do want the experience to be really smooth and the hardware to be reliable, because they are going to blame me if there is a problem with anything on the hardware side within the next 5 years.

 

I was thinking about getting a i5 Baby Canyon Nuc with a 250GB pcie m.2 and a 1TB 2.5" HDD and 8GB of RAM.

The mobile i5 should perform slightly better than a desktop i3 right? And are the Integrated graphics actually better since they are Iris instead of HD? 

 

Do they get hot? Is the warranty service of Intel good?

 

Should I build an ITX System myself instead? Are there nice Cases without wasted space for an extension cards for a reasonable price (under 100$)?

I'm living in europe (so no newegg) and my budget is around 600€ my main problem is that there are no nice looking small ITX cases, that don't cost 250€.

If I would need a case I can use horizontaly or a rather flat cube case
