Failing SSD sorcery ?!

So my Crucial MX100 SSD just fails randomly and disappears from my storage devices  (happened 2 times this year so far and about 5 times last year).
 
I have 90% of my games on that drive and here is the super weird part. If I play any steam game, it instantly crashes with the SSD BUT if I am in Battlefield 1 game I can finish playing the map and then game crashes. :-O
 

Connection: 200mbps / 12mbps 5Ghz wifi

Weird. Get a new SSD? I'm assuming the MX100 is either a lower tier or an old drive, as I have an MX300.

Yea cables too. Its the SSD.

Happens so rarely that I cant be bothered buying new one.  It only has games on it, nothing important enough for me to replace it until its unusable.

Well, I'd make sure and back it up, so you don't lose all your games and progress if it finally fails.
