So I'm about to buy parts for a liquid loop in an itx case, and I planned on using this pump/res combo unit, https://www.amazon.com/XSPC-Ion-Reservoir-Pump-Combo/dp/B01BA3LY64

It says its a DDC pump, and after doing a little looking, apparently DDC pumps run louder and hotter.  I really have no idea what I'm getting into, and I wanted to know if there was any advice I could get about how hot/loud it really is, should I look for a similarly small D5 pump, and considering there will be NO airflow to the pump, will it be fine in my case?

It's not a DDC pump it wouldn't fit within the footprint of that reservoir, XSPC uses their own style of mini pump. It's not as powerful both in flow and pressure as a DDC or D5 pump.
