PC lagging

Go to solution Solved by genexis_x,

PSU broken?

So this morning my pc was running fine and and then a sudden power outage happened in my house. After electricity is available again, i turned on my pc, and started cs go. The game runs at 120 fps in the menu then drops to 50-60 and then back to 120 again, this happens continuously and makes the game unplayable at all. So i tried to launched payday 2 and tried to play a video and the same thing happened. Help plz.

PSU means Power supply Unit. It is the component of the PC that gives electricity to other parts of the computer. NEVER. EVER. Get a cheap Power supply. Power supplies that aren't efficient can cause many problems to the computer if there is too much or too little electricity control. If this problem you say is occurring many times, and you are sure it is not the CPU, GPU, Memory, Ram, or Motherboard, then it is very likely to be the PSU, since you had an outage. Be careful while using your computer. A single short circuit can completely ruin it. Get the power supply checked from someone else who is more experienced.

Even if you say the problem is solved still be careful. Another power outage could lead to devastating effects.

It is said that an Italian dies every time Spaghetti is broken.

That's why I break mine twice.
