How did you "uninstall" the drivers? There is specialized software to do that, not just windows tools...

Why do Java developers wear glasses? Because they can't C#!

My good old laptop:

Why uninstall the drivers? If you're updating driver, the update utility will uninstall the previous one automatically
Did you downloaded the correct driver for your Windows version and GPU model?

You should have used "display driver uninstaller" for more consistent results and avoiding precisely this types of errors, since graphics adapters are very finicky about registries and so forth...
