Hello, i have an office laptop with an i5 6200u, 4gb of ddr3l ram, a 240gb ssd and HD520 Graphics

Obviously, this laptop doesn't perform very well in modern titles, I want to change that.

My plan is to buy 4gbs of ram to make it 8gb, as i have to sodimm slots. 25

A mini pci-e to pci-e x16 adapter, i don't have one set in sight, so i'll gladly accept suggestions

Due to the extreme value in the used market, im buying an r9 290 for 130

to power the gpu ill buy a standard itx psu, which will set me back 30-40€

ill have the gpu hooked up to an external monitor.

So here is where i need help, is this going to work at all?

Thanks to whoever is reading this
