Weak PSU, alternate config possible?

H0R53

I have a 275W PSU that has proven capable enough to run an HD 6750, a GTX 650, and a Quadro FX 3800 with Molex-to 6-pin PCI adapters. Now I want to make it permanent. I've already stripped the wires, but I'm lost as what to do with the 5v (red). I don't think a single 12v split between the three 12v pins on the 6-pin are enough for a video card alone, would it hurt the PSU or the video card (planning on using the HD 6750) if I added the 5v red wire to the 12v yellow wires? It's a perfectly good PSU and it's being paired with a 55W Core i3 2100.
