Wubi loopback install stuck

Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

Don't use wubi. Just use a live disk. They got rid of wubi a while ago as it sucks.

I am trying to dual boot Ubuntu and the easiest way is with Wubi, I am on W10 for my main OS and after some research and testing it doesn't seem to work properly.

I successfully install it in Windows, however when I reboot and finish installation in Ubuntu it just gets stuck at creating loopback, this happens after it says something about partition errors or something like that. According to where I got it on GitHub, it does say it should work fine with UEFI and secure boot so does anyone have any ideas on why this happens and should I continue or shall I just install Ubuntu the usual dual boot way?

Version I am using?https://github.com/hakuna-m/wubiuefi/releases/tag/1704r321
