endless boot/install windows 10

so im trying to re-format my pc because its was having problems and what not, its a laptop, and when it gets done installing, there is the "Hi there" bit and then asks for information like keyboard, timezone, and the express install, and no matter what i try, i can get past this. it will reboot, and go through the steps again. and i cant get to the bios at all to change it to boot to flash drive or what not

it has an m.2 in there so im not sure how to wipe that at all if i could

Once it's installed, don't go through the install again as you'll be constantly overwriting it... install, then when it's finished it should reboot itself, at this point if it then goes to the install again, just press and hold the power button to switch it off, then unplug the USB or take out the CD/DVD, then boot.

tried that. it reboots continuously after the flash drive as well.

Once the flash drive is removed it should go to the next boot order device, so after the USB is removed, boot the PC and press [del] continuously straight after, [F2] is sometimes used too.Then change the boot order.

it's not a boot order problem, i've seen machines get stuck at this section of setup, and a few times they make you do the checkboxes and privacy section like 3 times on 3 reboots before it goes to the next step. I think windows 10 setup is just a bit flaky. I've always been suspicious of hibernation or quickboot in these circumstances, i don't think the machine is properly power cycling between reboots.

 

Try kill the machine with the power button while it is restarting, then power back on.

there is a boot order, but its not booting from usb which is the 1st place. also, there is nothing that allows me to directly boot with usb like on my desktop if i chose

keeps telling me that there is no usb boot device option in bios, which is funny because ive done this before

Which is it, I must have mis-understood your first post. I thought you meant you were already at the stage where you HAD re-installed, and that it was repeating the process again... which I took to mean that you hadn't removed the USB installation drive and that it was booting into that option again and again?

 

Please explain as best you can what you want to do, and if there are problems, can you take pictures to show us what the problem is if possible?
