Difference between basically same GPUs

Go to solution Solved by MVPernula,

Hey there!

When it comes to the same GPU's like RX 580 vs. RX 580 it mostly comes down to size and looks.

They're mostly the same, some beating other slightly in temps and overclockability.

But those even varies between the brands - Some Gigabytes are better than other Gigabytes.

So basically pick the one that looks best in your opinion :P

Ultimately you wont feel a difference.

Some are factory overclocked if you don't like doing it yourself though :)

I am confused becaue they're basically the same brand, right?

I think you need to look at specs to see differences :)

I think aorus cooler is a bit better, it might be factory OCed, and not sure but it might have rgb.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

But I do believe biggest differences, expect a few MHz (25 MHz difference when both are in OC mode) is the cooling, I'd look up some benchmarking and temps and also if you have a theme to follow think about that too

It does have RGB, ooh. I also noticed that the Aorus' fans have more blades and includes an indicator.

Both of them got RGB on the side

They have the same price, sitting at $250(depends where you at) and I think Aorus is better in paper.

Aorus is indeed from Gigabyte, it's their "gamer-y" edgy brand name. It's like HyperX and Kingston, HyperX is meant for gamers but is part of Kingston.

Or Klevv, being a part of SK hynix.

Aorus is made by Gigabyte so technically it is still Gigabyte RX 580

There are 3 different Gigabyte cards: Gigabyte G1, Gigabyte Aorus and Gigabyte Auros XTR
