Hey guys, I am currently looking for some help on a new Stream PC  build as I am giving away my old build to my brother.

I use to stream on a I5-6600K with a GTX 1060. But I struggled with general tasking while streaming such as much, popups and internet browsing.

I am after either a I7-7700K or a AMD Ryzen chip. I currently cast professionally on websites such as CyberGamer, PYT Leagues and FaceIT leagues in Australia, so I will need a hefty computer.

I will be streaming through either ShadowPlay or OBS. Or by using my external Elgato Capture Card

The games I play are as follow:

CSGO (Stream and Cast)

H1Z1 (Stream)

Battlegrounds (Stream)

Rocket League (Stream)

I don't really have a budget, just something under $3000AUD

My desired theme would be a Glass RGB themed build (As much RGB and Glass possible) In saying this I don't really want RGB RAM as I don't want to spend so much on something like RAM.

I will be overclocking so I would like a Liquid Cooler. Also as since I would like a class with excellent cable management as I would like to display this PC.

I do not require any extra peripherals.

Please if you have any builds or suggestions please let me know. Thank you

Hey there!

When it comes to streaming and multitasking Ryzen 7 will be better than i7 7700k, more cores and hyperthreading will help you here.

For a cleanlooking tempered glass case I recommend Enthoo Evolv ATX with the full glass panel or the S340 Elite!

The NZXT Hue+ will not disappoint and will fullfill all your RBG lightstrip needs!

Fitting a liquidcooler into this theme would without a doubt be the NXZT Kraken x62, great performance and looks above all.

Aside from that you can get a good PSU and add fitting cables from Cablemod to suit your finished build. :)

The motherboard can be replaced with the maximas ix formula. It's great for overclocking. And the ram speed should be 3200mhz(It's a standard,i know that it doesn't improve fps). You can go for the nzxt n450.It moduler and has front rad support.

For streaming and playing, Ryzen might be better choise.

And if you are playing/streaming at 1440p or 4K then it's the best choise for sure.

For 1080p ... either 7700k or Ryzen ... hard to decide xD

Intel i7 12700K | Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X DDR4 | Pure Loop 240mm | G.Skill 3200MHz 32GB CL14 | CM V850 G2 | RTX 3070 Phoenix | Lian Li O11 Air mini

Samsung EVO 960 M.2 250GB | Samsung EVO 860 PRO 512GB | 4x Be Quiet! Silent Wings 140mm fans

The extra cores with ryzen will help a lot wit streaming the mobo is nice one the highest x370 and should be able to oc the r7 1700 to 4-4.1ghz the ram should be compatiblewith ryzen meaning it should run at the rated speed and later on could get 2 more 8GB dims.

First off do you plan to SLI ? If not then drop the X370 board for a B350 and drop the psu down to 550W.

I would change the cpu to the R7 1700. It should overclock the same as the 'X' version.

You could also get away with a cheaper AIO cooler such as a Corsair H110i or H115 etc.

Why the 2 x 1TB HDD's ? Just get a single 2TB. One of the new Seagate Barracudas (Green label)

That SSD will fill up really fast. I would aim for 250GB as a minimum.

***That Cablemod kit is for a BeQuiet PSU. You want an E-Series for EVGA***
