Hi! its been a while since i swapped to win10 and problems started to occur.
First problem that i noticed, was usb tethering is REALLY slow to start. I'm not sure if its because of my old htc one m8 phone or what. it takes around 10min to usb tether then everything is normal.
Second problem occurred recently. was just casually playing games (Path of exile) and started screen tear a little, then the whole screen shut off for few seconds and came back up like nothing happened. No notification that display driver shutted down or anything.
Third problem is that, i surf net (Chrome) and suddenly pc freezes. I checked cpu and apparently it went to 100% for few seconds and then ran normally again.

These problems wasn't in win7 and i'm really starting to regret upgrading to win10... is there any particular reason this is happening?

specs:

gtx 980 ti water cooled, OCed (the oc is put to safe side, witcher3 60fps hairworks with no screen tear or artifacts)
i7-2600k watercooled, OCed to 4.3ghz,
500gb ssd
1tera hdd
16gb ram
msi p67a-c45 b3 motherboard (around 6-8 years old but still running smoothly)

800w evga bronze

win 10 64bit

Drivers are all up to date and i even went the effort to factory reset it, no use so far
PC has been tested to run aida64 and heavenly bench for hours and no crashes / artifacts or tear on win 7

Hi xyrock

I have a similar system to yours

i7 2600k OC @ 4.4GHz

32 GB Supertalent

512 Samsung 850 pro

2TB Seagate SSHD

Asus GTX 980 SLI

Asrock Extreme4 gen3 mobo

Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 7

We would need more info normally but I had several issues quite similar to this when I upgraded.

1. DisplayPort resets happen in windows 10 in games. Sometimes this is resolved with a cable change but in my case, I had to revert to DVI.

2. had to upgrade to Samsung Magic 5.0 and upgrade 850 Pro SSD firmware for full Windows 10 compatibility

3. Plenty of SLI issues but that is for another thread ;-)

4. USB, For some reason, Plugged USB 2.0 devices into USB 3.0 worked fine under windows 7 but sometimes would get lost under Windows 10. Soometimes simply disconnecting and reconnecting solved the issue for a session but the real fix was to plug USB 2.0 devices into usb 2.0 ports. Sometimes enabling legacy USB 1.1 is needed to boot off of a USB device.

plz send your motherboard type

I guess you need to update either windows or your phone or both.

It's I think because of Superfetch or something windows working behind, so looking at all your issues, and seeing that you clean installed it already, I suggest doing a full windows update and drivers update.
