2. Getting a cheap PSU for a build like that is quite a poor choice. Do not risk it for the biscuit.

is this build for gaming

 

if so pick the evga 500b and change the video card to gigabyte gtx 1080 g1 gaming

A Seasonic M12II (or S12II) would work perfectly well for that build. Ditto the Corsair CXM, RMx or RMi. 329W is not hard to find a good PSU for.

If you have $200+ for a PSU, the EVGA 500B is not the best decision.

No reason you can't do so and not buy a PSU that's not ideal for high-end components.

Check Cablemod. I'm sure they have some in white.

Different PSU manufacturers use different pin layouts. There's a chance that plugging generic cables in fries your motherboard.

If you want to. Black cables in a white case look good. Cablemod is pretty safe, and an email to Seasonic might get you an answer as to the best cables for their PSUs.
