- A compact.... 78 key (18:5) .... keyboard design of mine , inspire by old Dell laptop keyboard + Cooler master fire TK compact keyboard

- with 4 layers , Normal black / Shift yellow / FN (toggle) Red / Numpad Green. combine with useful media key vol up / down / mute (Pause and Scroll not media key) , and a brightness recycle key

- The color design quite odd ... . golden yellow , Lime Neon Green , blood Orange Red .... and Greenish gray ,but i try to aim at Retro Style and seem like it not work that well.

- I want some opinion for key-layout , will it fit your hand? , is it confuse to use? , how can i redesign the color combination? (send hex color code)

i have the .json file included incase you want to base on that and edit your own in this http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com website

* Edited 1 Fix the Fat menu , Fat window , up spacebar to 6,25U up Right control to 1.25U59216d3ad8b2d_keyboard-layout(5).png.f80f990de234fb0eddbb496145df95ac.pngkeyboard-layout (2).json

Honestly the only problem i have with it for me is that its a single row key for enter, i normally hit the enter key down low, meaning i would hit either the up arrow key or the right shift

Well since it's a compact key so it's hard for me to snuck a Fat ass enter key or ISO enter key....

Might consider moving the spacebar up to a standard 6.25U to help with keycaps and shrinking menu to 1u to compensate.

yeah! why do i make that fatty menu anyway?! :D
fixed i decide to make a fat right Ctrl and short out the window key , and also max out the space bar to 6.25 unit

≣?

For some reason the font size on the smaller menu annoys me.

I like how the numbers are incorporated. I don't know what the goal of this is, to create a custom keyboard for yourself or something to sell?

- Iso vs Ansi: a 2nd space for a key-switch beneath the left shift, allowing it to be replaced by 2 keys.

- Is it really worth it to remove the function key row? Horizontal space is often a real problem but vertical space?

- An extra ~macro layer, replacing caps lock (let's call it 'mod'). Change "normal" caps-lock to shift + caps. The mod working as a modifier key (hold), being programmable to for example add quick access diacritics éñùà etc... or as letter combinations i.e. for programmers, let's say pure javascript: mod + d types "document.getElementById", mod + f: "document.getElementsByClassname" etc. With an option to create multiple profiles and quick switching. For example mod + numpad1 = profile 1 javascript, mod + numpad2 = profile 2 diacritics, mod + numpad3 = C++, mod + numpad4 = VBA etc...
