Need advice for moving programs.

So I recently realized that my SSD has been getting full so now I want to start moving my programs to my 2 TB HDD. So I started searching for solutions but most of them are messing with the registry, wich I heard is not recommended. I then found this program Symmover wich tricks windows about the file location. I just want to know what is the best and safest option to doing this.

With Windows, most programs are impossible, or extremely difficult to transfer to another drive. Your best and safest option is to uninstall, and reinstall to the hard drive.

There is probably some kind of cloning method......

However, with anything other than software, like ordinary files (especially video), I would just copy them over.  I also use goodsync to backup, but it can also transfer files, it is really nice and has a great interface.  I just like watching the little bar move.....
