First mechanical keyboard can't choose

Principis

Hi

I'm going to buy my first mechanical keyboard and these are the options:

  • Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum RGB Romer-G
  • Corsair K95 Cherry MX Red
  • Corsair Strafe gaming in Red and Brown

I wan to use it for gaming but also a lot for programming.

Roght now I have a logitech MK520 and I HATE IT. I always use my laptop (HP Spectre x360) for typing because I hate it so much.

Which should I take?

I would advise you to go to a local computer store and test out each switch.

Also there are switch tester selling on Amazon.

I personally have an MX Brown and absolutely love it. It's a Logitech G710+  paired with a Logitech G402 mouse.

Any thing brown, e.g 710+ <3

Currently, I'm in love with the Speed MX.

I highly suggest you go to a shop and try it out if possible.

So th only thing that I should look at is the kind of switch? I looked them up so I now what the differences are but I can't really test it because there are no stores that sell them close enough...

Check out the G.Skill KM780 MX Brown RGB keyboard... I am using it right now to type this message and love it! USB pass through, completely programmable keys, macros, 6 G keys, audio and mic pass through, brushed aluminum plate is what the keys sit on, multi-media keys (also programmable) and metal volume scroll wheel. I would for sure check it out.

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Well I owned 3 logitech gaming products: the G300s mouse, G710+ keyboard and G402 mouse. The software was beyond excellent and has no complaint for me. I haven't used Corsair Utility Engine so can't be so sure.

If you do not live close to a store that can test there are switch tester on Amazon for less than $5 to order, I'd say get those and try out
