The PSU code is reliable like:

SSR-550M means 550W

it came with a

no gpu(thats why I am upgrading)

I've spent many man hours refurbishing prebuilts and knowing the system configurators, they intend to cut costs by only supplying a PSU which meets the recommended wattage for the said system without leaving much if not any room for any extra upgrades. But there is always the odd chance that there's enough headroom for a 75 watt GPU. Without any specifics, it's impossible to tell accurately though.

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.

just check the psu label, it should say the amount of wattage, or the total amount of amps on the rails.

Also make sure you have the right power connector for the rx 560 model you are buying (should be 8 pin) .. if you have to get a molex adaptor and the PSU doesnt have that connector then it would be safer to get a new PSU

MSI rx 560 aero does not need one

I want to add a RX 560, and it does not a need extra power connectors

I checked out the pc and there is a PCI-E slot(x16, no idea what generation)

Same, but i am getting GTX 970 so it's gonna be way different than yours. 4GB RAM? Is it DDR3?
